Receiving a Beauty Blender gives me yet another reason to love Birchbox (not that I need another reason...)
I never would have tried some of the products in this box so it's definitely an exciting one this month. Everything in this box is new to me so I can't wait to try everything! This month's theme was based on the World Cup so the products are from across the globe and I love the little Birchbox flip flop key ring. As always, there's a mix of skincare and make up and if you want to see what I received in last month's box, you can click here. So let's kick this off (tehe) with the star of the show!
Like most beauty bloggers, I've heard so much about this and I've wanted it for so so long but could never quite justify £26 for a sponge when I could purchase the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge for £5.99 (which is amazing by the way - I reviewed it here!) so receiving this was brilliant. I'm so shocked that Birchbox have included this in a box as it's obviously expensive, but I'm so glad that I now have the cult product in my collection! This sponge just makes my skin look flawless and my foundation so natural - after dampening, I just dab it onto my skin to blend the foundation in. It works much the same as the Real Techniques sponge but with a few differences, and I'm planning a comparison post soon so I can go more into detail there.
Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentre // £12.99 (full size)
I've heard so much about this brand and I'm so excited to try it out. I'm quite finicky with my skincare and I have a good thing going at the moment so I haven't yet used this, but when my current moisturiser (La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+) runs out then I'll definitely give this a go. Hopefully it sits well under make up as thats a must for me when it comes to skincare.
Naobay Body Radiance Lotion // £14 (full size)
This beautiful body lotion smells so fresh and has a citrus scent to it. It has quite a thick consistency so it's really moisturising but it sinks into the skin so quickly. The true test for me is applying moisturiser straight after shaving my legs - if it stings, it's a no-go as it obviously contains far too many chemicals and I can't be doing with stinging legs, but if it doesn't sting then I'm happy to use it all over my body as it's proved itself to be gentle enough. This lotion passed the test and I'm happily using it every single day.
OPI Nail Lacquer (from the Brazilian range but colour unknown) // £11.95 (full size)
I'm always happy to add to my nail polish collection so this product was always going to go down well with me! I probably own something similar but I don't care, I know that OPI nail varnishes are amazing quality so I can't wait to try this. It's a bright pink with shimmers running through it but unfortunately I don't know the name of it - I've linked the Birchbox site so you can purchase it from there if you want to.
Yves Rocher Sheer Botanical Lipstick in Corail Doux // £9.90 (introductory price)
This colour! Birchbox couldn't have matched me better if they'd tried. It's such a 'me' colour and I go for anything peachy/orangey around this time of year. It's such a stunning shade and the formula is so creamy. It is sheer but it's also build-able, so you can go for a sheer peach or a brighter orange, depending on your preference. The lipstick smells lovely which is a bonus and I really like the packaging. I'm looking forward to wearing more of this over the summer!
If this Birchbox hasn't made you want to subscribe then I don't know what will...and if you are subscribed, were you happy with what you received in this months box?

This box was absolutely amazing...but the July box, not so great! Fingers crossed for August though :) Daniela xo
DeleteI absolutely love the look of this months Birchbox. I've recently gotten a cheaper (Beautybay?) version of the beauty blender but I'm tempted to get this Birchbox just to try the original! I've seen so many people love this box that I want one to love too!

DeleteI'm hoping to sign up to a monthly beauty box when I can be sure I have enough money - torn between Glossybox and Birchbox, myself! What do you think of Glossybox, or is it something you've not tried? :) Fabulous little blog, by the way. I've given you a follow on BL :)

Ohh definitely Birchbox. I tried Glossybox for a few months but didn't like it - I thought that the products were low quality, never high-end and the samples were tiny!
DeleteThank you for following me lovely! I shall head on over to your blog now :) Daniela xo
I want to subscribe to a beauty box, but am still undecided which is the best for me! This Birchbox looks fab though, so I may be swayed to that one!

DeleteWe've actually never used a beauty blender before! But it seems like every batty guru approves, so maybe we need to give it a go. We love the fact that all the products are full sized! We had sample sized things

I can honestly say that it makes foundation look flawless and it is so easy to apply. I really love it and will write up a review soon!
